What is Lagree?

The Lagree Fitness Training Method is a revolutionary fitness program developed by fitness visionary, Sebastien Lagree. Lagree combines strength, endurance, cardio, balance, core and flexibility training in every move. Performed exclusively on our state-of-the-art Megaformer machines, Lagree offers a low-impact, high-intensity workout that challenges your body and mind.
The method focuses on five key elements to reach effective muscle stimulation: Resistance, Range of Motion, Angle, Tempo and Duration. Tension is kept constant and continuous. Movements are performed slow and controlled with quick transitions between sets keeping the heart rate elevated increasing calorie burn, boosting metabolism, and building endurance.

Meet the Megaformer

The Lagree Megaformer machines are specifically built for the high-intensity, low-impact method. The machines are constructed to provide effective resistance and range of motion exercises. There is a rolling carriage between two platforms, one on each end. A system of springs and pulleys use your own body weight to create resistance, making it safe on your back and joints.
The Megaformer attacks each muscle in a very concentrated manner to sculpt strong, lean and powerful bodies. CDM Lagree is excited to feature the latest Megaformer – the Mega Pro.

The Science

Slow down and feel the burn

Lagree Fitness is taught at an extremely slow and steady speed. The intention of the eliminate any momentum that may reduce the effectiveness of the movement. A series of slow, deliberate movements engage the resistance of the machine. By reducing speed, intensity and heartrate is increased. These movements activate the slow-twitch muscle fibers which increases your muscles stamina and oxygen-carrying capacity, allowing you to burn more calories long after your workout is complete.
