The Lagree Mega Pro Megaformers are specifically built for the high-intensity, low-impact method. The machines are constructed to provide effective resistance and range of motion exercises. Lagree Fitness is taught at an extremely slow and steady speed. The intention is to eliminate any momentum that may reduce the effectiveness of the movement. A series of slow, deliberate movements engage the resistance of the machine. By reducing speed, intensity and heartrate is increased. These movements activate the slow-twitch muscle fibers which increases your muscles stamina and oxygen-carrying capacity, allowing you to burn more calories long after your workout is complete.
